Our Team

Robert McCray is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stonegate Real Estate Partners in addition to serving as the Managing Partner of Vantage Realty Capital (VRC). Prior to the formation of Stonegate, Mr. McCray served as an Investment Analyst for PGIM Real Estate Finance focusing on multifamily real estate investments throughout the United States. As an Investment Analyst, he was responsible for evaluating commercial real estate financing opportunities using the company’s various debt programs including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate Finance, Robert served as a Commercial Leasing Coordinator for JBG Smith, the largest publicly traded REIT focused primarily on the Washington, DC Metro area. During his tenure at JBG, he was responsible for assisting in over 5 million square feet worth of transactions within the Washington DC Metro area. 

Mr. McCray received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Government and Politics from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio while studying Business and Finance. Additionally, Mr. McCray holds a Masters of Real Estate with a concentration in Global Real Estate and Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University. Mr. McCray is currently an Executive MBA Candidate at Cornell University.
